Walk up to Midtown living at the Sutter Brownstones

Sacramento isn't exactly famous for its "brownstones"—highwater bungalows are the brownstone rowhouses of the delta.
Local developer LoftWorks is changing all that with the Sutter Brownstones in Midtown. Fresh off the heels of for-lease projects like the Elliott Building and the O1 Lofts, LoftWorks' 28 single-family contemporary three-story two-bedroom brownstones ranging from 1,119 to 1,986 square feet plus garages. One of the models includes an additional media room and another even has a separate studio with kitchen, bath, and private entrance (that I think could easily rent for $1000/mo and probably quite a bit more if furnished).
Curtis Popp of Sacramento-based design firm blankblank space has helped select finishes, which include:
- brick façades with metal and stucco accents and metal canopies
- balconies or patios on all units
- industrial steel interior and exterior stair railings
- European kitchen cabinetry and black granite countertops
- high-end appliances and finishes in kitchens and baths
- 16"x16" Brazil black slate and oak hardwood flooring (varies)
- upgraded carpet in bedrooms
- skylights at the top of stairs
- finished garages
- low HOA dues at just $122-138/mo
